Make the most of winter in the Western Cape with a stay at Mont Rochelle, Sir Richard Branson's Hotel and Mountain Vineyard in South Africa, and enjoy a night on us when booking a stay of three or more nights.

In an area internationally renowned for its winelands and stunning scenery, Mont Rochelle boasts a unique hilltop setting and private vineyard encompassing 39 hectares. This is one of the most beautiful times of year to visit as the breath-taking scenery comes to life and guests are treated to flourishing green surroundings; perfect for budding photographers hoping to capture memories to last a lifetime.

For the rainier days of the season wine lovers can cosy up by the fireplace with a glass of Miko Red, one of Mont Rochelle's own wines, or experience all the wines on offer with a wine tasting. Wine tastings can be arranged in a variety of locations including Miko restaurant, Country Kitchen and of course our historic 150 year old cellar.

Guests looking to take some time out for some much needed rest and relaxation will be welcome to indulge in the spa. Mont Rochelle has two dedicated spa treatment rooms as well as a Hammam. The spa uses eco-friendly Africology, a range of products which are made from 100% essential oils and natural plant extracts, to create a unique experience with signature treatments exclusive to Mont Rochelle. Who says grapes are just for wine? One of the treatments on offer is the Grape Stem Cell Signature facial; a beneficial repairing and preventative facial.

Rates start from R3,210 (approx. AUD298) per room, per night based on double occupancy. When you book a stay of three nights of more your final night will be complimentary.

Why not get a whole group together and book Manor House, the latest addition to Mont Rochelle's estate. Manor House captures that 'home away from home' feel whilst allowing guests to indulge in all the luxury of a hotel stay. Groups of up to 8 people will be welcomed to kick back and relax while the dedicated team take care of the rest; from arranging private dining and spa treatments to horse-back riding and wine tasting, no detail is overlooked. Manor House is available for exclusive stays of 2 nights or more throughout the year. Rates start from R46, 800 (approx. AUD4350) per night based on 8 adults sharing.

For guests who would like to combine a winelands break with a safari, Mont Rochelle provides the perfect extension to a stay at Ulusaba Private Game Reserve in the Sabi Sand, adjacent to the Kruger National Park.
