Luxury travel is set to reach new heights in 2016 with the introduction of the latest 'Journey's by Private Jet' program from Captain's Choice.
'Journeys by Private Jet' is a tailor made portfolio that in 2016 will see guests travel aboard a newly refurbished all business class privately chartered jet to exotic and remote destinations.
Captain's Choice is offering three exclusive itineraries, all of which are personally designed by company founder Phil Asker, offering an exceptional all inclusive travel experience both onboard and on the ground.
Guests can choose from Equatorial Explorer, August 23-September 13 2016; Ultimate South America, September 15-October 6 2016; or Icons of Asia and Africa, October 20-November 7 2016. Prices start from $47,500 per person, twin share.
Travelling from destination to destination, sometimes on flight paths that are usually unheard of, all 90 guests on board the Captain's Choice Boeing 767 will be able to relax on their own lie-flat seats while enjoying personalised service. Now that’s got to beat the usual school holiday activities if the family is ready to see how the other half lives!
The dedicated flight and cabin crew stay with guests for their entire tour, creating a home away from home. Free flowing Dom Perignon Champagne is served on every flight along with premium beer and wines personally selected by a panel of experts comprising Italian wine connoisseur Michael Trembath; acclaimed French wine expert, Christian Maier; and Captain's Choice's own wine buff, company founder, Phil Asker. Fine dining food service is overseen by an onboard private Chef.
Guests are treated like VIPs throughout their journey, only changing planes to reach remote destinations such as the Galápagos Islands and Agra. Immigration is hassle free and in many destinations special arrangements are made for guests to fast track through. Every itinerary has been crafted with convenience in mind with all flights, bar one, are scheduled during the day at times that suit guests' needs rather than the operational requirements of an airline.
On the ground, guests will travel in small groups of 25 and experience a range of Captain's Choice Inspired Moments.
For example on the Equatorial Explorer - which journeys from London to Sydney, via the Azores, Cuba, Antigua, the Panama Canal, the Amazon River, Galápagos Islands, Easter Island and Tahiti – guests explore Havana in their own vibrant vintage car; navigate the Panama Canal on a private cruise; and live like castaways, staying in a luxury overwater bungalow in Tahiti and feeding black tip reef sharks and stingrays on a lagoon cruise.
On the Ultimate South America, guests jet from Sydney to South America, taking in Buenos Aires, Iguassu Falls, Rio de Janeiro, Manaus, Cuba, Panama and the Galápagos Islands, Lima, Cuzco and Easter Island before landing back in Australia. Inspired Moments include the chance to experience your own private carnival, samba dancing the night away at a private mansion in Rio de Janeiro; a journey aboard the iconic and luxurious Hiram Bingham Train to Machu Picchu; and a private lunch on the edge of Iguassu Falls where you'll be so close that you'll feel the spray on your face, followed by a helicopter ride to take in their full majesty from the air.
And for guests travelling on the Icons of Asia and Africa – flying from Sydney to London via Angkor Wat, Myanmar, the Taj Mahal and Delhi, Zanzibar, the Serengeti, Cairo and Jerusalem – highlights include a special dining experience amongst temples surrounding Angkor Wat; the rare opportunity to take part in a private holy ceremony in Mandalay hosted by saffron robed monks; a Dhow cruise to a private sandbar in Zanzibar for cocktails; and a hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti to watch the sun rise over the plains.
Captain's Choice Founder Phil Asker has overseen the program since its inception and where possible joins guests for part of every journey.
Commenting on the new portfolio of 'Journeys by Private Jet', Phil said, “Once more we've handpicked some of the world's most astonishing destinations and through private jet travel we are able to bring them to life for our guests. These are exceptional journeys that I have personally selected for our guests. They are one off itineraries that you can only experience with Captain's Choice. With 21 years experience in finessing this program, we are proud to be the only Australian company offering this format of all inclusive intimate luxury travel. There really is no travel style quite like it.”
The Captain's Choice Boeing 767 is no stranger to VIP guests, having been formerly chartered by the Rolling Stones for their most recent Australian tour, the England, French and Dutch Football Teams for the World Cup and the Hunger Games film crew to name but a few. The aircraft is privately owned by a South African company that specialises in luxurious charter flights for high profile clients and is equipped with ETOPS 180, allowing it to fly to remote regions.
Captain's Choice is offering a saving of $2,500 per person for guests who book and deposit any 'Journeys by Private Jet' itinerary by 18 September 2015.
