Facts about Thailand

Thailand is a kingdom that is located in the area of Southeast Asia, in the south is the Gulf of Thailand which also belongs to part of the South China Sea. The population is predominantly ethnically Thai and belongs to the Buddhist religion.


The climate in Thailand is divided into three different seasons, the first is the rainy season which lasts from May to October, but keep in mind that September and August are the rainiest months. The winter period starts from mid-October until mid-February. The summer period lasts from mid-February to mid-May. 

Chiang Rai

What this place is famous for is the fascinating building named the White Temple that simply leaves everyone breathless when they visit it. Next to this building is the Black House, a must-see. In addition to these wonderful architectural structures, there are small hills where local villages are located, which we recommend you explore. When you visit the local communities, you can expect an environment unlike anything you've seen before, as well as authentic food and socializing with the locals of the indigenous communities.

Koh Samet

This small island is one of the closest to Bangkok, where you need about three hours by boat and car. It is one of the most popular destinations for tourists and locals who want to escape the crowds of Bangkok. Although the island is small, there are many different activities on it, from beautiful resorts, there are slightly more expensive but also cheaper restaurants and resorts. The island has beautiful large white sandy beaches, jungles, indigenous plants and animals, all next to the beautiful turquoise sea.

Prachuap Khiri Khan

Located in the central part of Thailand, tourists visit it for its beautiful local white beaches and here you will be able to find much cheaper accommodation than on other islands. Here, you will be able to spot a lot of monkeys roaming the beaches unhindered, all while you sip your drink and enjoy yourself on the beach under the big palm trees. This coastal town also offers a variety of local restaurants, fresh seafood prepared in a variety of ways, a multitude of bustling markets, and numerous marine activities.

Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park

One of the hidden gems not so often visited is precisely this national park that hides many wonderful and breathtaking places. The island offers various facilities, from more expensive hotel and accommodation alternatives to slightly cheaper ones, a variety of restaurants, colorful shops, and various bars and clubs that work until late hours where you can relax and have a wonderful time. The content that this island offers and the possibilities are countless, but you have to be prepared for big crowds when it comes to this destination.

Koh Tao

This island is shaped like a turtle and is one of the most visited by backpackers who want to learn to dive. One of the main activities on this island is diving, and there are many instructors and over 110 diving schools. In addition to diving activities, and beautiful beaches, it also offers a colorful nightlife, various bars, cafes, shops, and restaurants. Also when it comes to accommodation on this island is a much cheaper solution compared to others.

Khao Lak

This area is only an hour's drive from Phuket and is home to three national parks. Here you will be able to see mesmerizingly beautiful white sand beaches, rich flora and fauna, and limestone karst that rises and accentuates the breathless turquoise color of the sea. Here you have the option of choosing numerous sea activities and renting a boat to take you to different islands nearby so that you can explore the beautiful colorful sea world.
