Tropical North Queensland will inspire travellers from all walks of life to find their paradise as part of a new winter campaign in market this week.

Tourism and Events Queensland (TEQ), in partnership with Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ), launched the Find Your Paradise campaign which targets interstate and intrastate travellers.

The campaign, with a strong digital focus, identifies six different types of traveller defined by personal interests and likes ranging from action and adventure to luxury getaways and more.

Find Your Paradise uses the online environment to match people with their most desirable form of holiday and tailors a package to suit their interests.

Tourism and Events Queensland Chief Executive Officer Leanne Coddington said the campaign was designed to entice all types of travellers by showcasing the diverse range of experiences the region offers.  

“The Find Your Paradise campaign is a refreshingly new and authentic perspective on travelling to Tropical North Queensland,” Ms Coddington said.

“The campaign features strong visuals, great personalised deals and airfares along with shareable stories aimed at inspiring southerners to head north for the winter.”

TTNQ Chief Executive Officer Alex de Waal said the beauty of Tropical North Queensland meant there was an experience to suit every personality.

“Our dual World Heritage areas of the Great Barrier Reef and the Wet Tropics rainforest can be enjoyed by all types of travellers while the Outback is accessible in a matter of hours,” he said.

“Whether you like to relax into the easy going Tropical North Queensland lifestyle, discover new adventures or tick off as many sightseeing boxes as you can, there is a way to Find Your Paradise in Tropical North Queensland for everyone.”

Digital and social media activity is a key driver of the campaign with the ability for content and deals to be tailored around the individual user's interests.

Find Your Paradise will showcase the region's biggest drawcards from the Great Barrier Reef, the ancient rainforests, outdoor adventure activities, tropical lifestyle and culture and indigenous culture.
